I have to leave my babies alone for 2 weeks as I'm off to Singapore for business. Let's hope the wife fulfills her marital duties and keeps them alive for my return.

Do yaselves a favour. Locate a bottle of Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, chill a schooner glass and drink that puppy.
Yum freakin deliciously yum.

Likewise, been at least a year since I had it, probably two actually since it's a winter brew and I don't remember having it last year.
Yeah great beer that youngs. Pity about the cost though, about $8.

I have to say though, chill the glass?!
Drink it at 13C like all the good ales and stouts. Cold temps hide the good flavours.

Only offensive lagers you drink because it's summer and you've been doing labouring jobs and want a beer should be chilled.

Not me, i like my beer cold and my thc smokin! 7 bucks for a 500ml bottle here. Expensive but thats why i only got one bottle. Bloody Gillard will have us drinking swamp water soon.
Coopers pale ale was on special though, happy days

I've been getting my coopers from 40-45 bucks this year. How much on special?

I got the orchid focus because its basically the same as the others except has npk by the bucket load. I already use trace minerals so it seems like more bang for my buck.
Will just dilute more!

I've been hunting down information on fertilisers for the upcoming season. Mind posting the numbers Orchid Focus label?

I saw both the Bloom and the non-Bloom variants of Orchid Focus at Bunnings.

Seeing as I am falling in love with the flavours of the Bhuts, and considering their heat isn't overwhelming and can be adopted for every day use, I have brought and have started to germinate some interesting new varieties, thanks to cmokinasschilli:

"So White" Bhut Jolokia
Purple Bhut Jolokia

Along with my:

Red Bhut Jolokia
Chocolate Bhut Jolokia

Going to be much fun!!

Raelacea.. I don't have room for the aquarium tank thing. Thats what I meant by tub full of water. It looks effective but I have zero space. I might have to just get the snake heating thing.

And everyone shut up about the sunny weather! It's been non stop storms, high winds and torrential rains here for a week :( making me jealous.

Is it just me or is the default text on this site suddenly gone bold? My two year old gouged my eye today so it could be me, or maybe I tweaked a setting somehow.

Did I mention that those cloudy skies we had here vanished not long after I was bitching about them..... :P

Nah, that really sucks, megamoo! I really do feel for ya!

Cloudless sky here today ....  . Nah sorry Mega I feel for you as well nothing worse then crappy weather when you need some sun for your winter seedlings or simply for your winter soul ... hope the weather gods smile on you this week (as well as us)

the forecast says rain and storms all week except for one day. But it doesn't really bother me unless I want to go outside. I love the sound of rain and lightning. Amazingly I still have some flowers & fruit on my plants outside and actually picked 2 small bhuts off my plants. Actually all the ones I pruned about a month ago have all new growth and quite a few leaves.

Same as me... I think rain/storms is actually my favourite type of weather (not good for my babies right now though as they solely rely on sun for their sustenance )
Good news on the new growth Candice ...

My outside baby plants also seem to be doing ok despite the cooler night temps, with my super chilli even looking like he wants to flower at only ~10cm height ??
I think I will have to nip that in the bud (excuse the pun) quick smart if it does decide too.

4 new arrivals today, another NTR, Jonah, T.Scorp Butch T and my first Toro De Corno Rosso (not a hot one but sounds like a nice one all the same)
Still no signs of the Fatalii's, Purple Tigers or the mythical Hot Cherry's

First White Bhut has just raised it's head :woohoo:

Didn't finish my greenhouse off on the weekend :( Damn *&@$*@ windy rainy cold ass weekend. Oh well got to clean it out at least!
