Even got a small plot on the south-west side of the house for the nieghbors to come and pick from. Just some herbs, tomatoes, cowhorns and one 7-Pod safely tucked beneath the container.

Time for a bit of a June update:

Back in early May I got hit REAL HARD by a nasty strain of fungus that nearly wiped out everything I transplanted into the garden from the greenhouse. I assume all the CRAZY ass wet weather Georgia was getting didn't set to well too long with the peppers. I nearly had 90% leaf drop on EVERY PLANT and things were looking very bad, so bad that I started 150 more plants just in case things went down the toilet. After a bit of sulfur/copper treatments everything has bounced back with extreme vigor and this season is shaping up to be a good one! Everything is fine and dandy down at the big garden and I will post pics of that as soon as I get down there with the Ole camera. But for now here are some things from my personal backyard gardens.

Side garden for the neighbors. Looks a Lil different than the last pics I posted!

Two young Bhut Jolokias. Notice the activity towards the base? Wait another month and all that growth will shoot up past what is now the flower filled canopy, leaving the fruit only at the bottom of the foliage.

The three stooges. They were affected the most by the fungus but are coming back. Funny thing is, they may tower over the others in a month or two! From left to right. Fatalii, 7-Pod, and another Bhut.

Hope you enjoyed the update, read back a few posts for the 1st part.

I'll snap a few shots of the best 7-Pod in the morning. She's gonna be a biggun!

very nice Guru...everything is so green and lush looking...glad everything bounced back for you...looks like that Fatalii will be a tree before the end of grow season...

Great lookin' landscaping done with your annuals. I know capsicum are perrenial but done north of the tropical zone they become annuals. Hate to hear 'bout the fungus. Those tomato on the side are getting huge you will need a bigger ladder, maybe some scaffolding. Your soil makes some happy plants. Good update.

To be honest, these plants haven't recieved anything but good ole amended Red Georgia Clay...lol
In the begining before April rolled around I just made sure my drainage in those areas was up to par and also threw in some compost. You see, this Georgia clay will grow monster plants, you just have to know how it acts when saturated by water and add material when needed. During this next month or two of PEAK growing conditions I will watch them all closely and if they show me that they need anything I may water in some food. But they usualy never do.:)
