2011 Grow log

Starting out w/ a seed that just popped after being underground for > a month. I put both serrano seeds and jalapeno seeds in this pot. They didn't seem to sprout so I forgot about them. I'd be happy w/ either one because that would make the 4th different strain that I've grown. Already had some success w/ Kung Pao, phrik khi nu, & Hab's

Choc hab. One thing I noticed about this one is how round/wide these leaves are compared to any other pepper I've grown:

The stalk on one of my two outside, jalapeno, pepper plants. There's a flower coming out from the junction (hard to see) Pretty stout-looking stalk :woohoo:

My Fresno. Pretty unique growth on this one. Might be because I might have injured it when removing the seed-cap. Can't remember. Seems to be alright, it just looks like it has different shaped leaves throughout:

yes there was a ghosted post here

{i was sure i had been censored by the mods}

but others are seeing the same as me,
had posted here regards of the perón flower i think
anyhow

dot dude the pube' blossoms are looking viable
they may set a few pods this season
although that ones genetics may lean towards "none" until second spring
"we think" it is an unadulterated offspring of this one pictured here

Heres what it looks like now. Got rid of the lower growth to spur growth on the top:

Naga Dorset sprout. Hope this one makes it. Sprouted in bag then dropped sprout into jiffy-pellet:

That one didn't make it so decided to sprout them directly in the dirt (technically, jiffy-pellet which i heard Neil mention on one of his vids) According to Neil, these buggers are extremely hot :mouthonfire: I also seemed to have gotten near 100% germination w/ these seeds

My Rocoto. Seems to set flowers fine but they drop-off and no peppers. I think it might be because I'm growing them indoors so they produce when they want to produce regardless of season.

Next, the Fresno. this one was the first seedling to pop-up and out grew the others. however You can see how prominent the stem is but the leaf growth is somewhat stymied. I just finished potting-it-up so maybe it'll get bigger now:

Peach Hab (2-in-1 pot) that I've put outside and acclimatized. This is out there w/ the other Choc Bhut thats been hardened as well as my jalapeno posted earlier:

Nambe Pueblo which has out- paced all the others. (I have a stick in the dirt to help keep it straight-up. Thats the brown part you see raising-up over the middle) Peppers are full-grown. Just waiting for them to ripen
