Thought that some may enjoy the pics of my 8 week old "normal" or "red" 7 Pot plant. The seeds for this beast were sourced from THSC. Germination Rate of 80+ percent which I consider to be pretty Darn good!
Post some of your own 7 Pots or 7 Pot Pods if you care too!
Is the Morouga Red a "Scorpion" variety or simply "just another Trinidad superhot pepper".
Peppermania sent me some seeds au gratis in 2008. They were labeled as Trinidad Scorpion Morouga Red...so heck, I thought that they were or are a scorpion variety. I didn't plant any for my 2009 season...
You know, scientifically, to test if it is in fact THE HOTTEST PEPPER IN THE WORLD!
Many claim that it blows away the Bhuts and Nagas, so why not put it to the test?
Thought that it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to the growing of the Yellow Scorpion CARDI pepper. I know that CMPMAN1974 distributed a boatload of these seeds and many forum members are growing.
The purpose will be to track everyones progress with this neat hot pepper plant...
These seedlings are all about 3 weeks from germination. I'm using Roots Organic 707 natual & organic soil and Botainicare Pure Blend metabolic grow formula...almost like a vegan tea. Very pleased with the results so far. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Anyone use their fertilizer or any of their products for that matter?
My hydro guy claims he has yielded amazing results with both Roots Organic seed starting mix and their fertilizer range. Of course, my hydro guy also tends to "push" the latest products.

Last year I used Ocean Forest soil to start my seeds and had excellent results. Now this is not a seed germinating mix, but rather a premium all purpose soil. Thinking about using the seed starting mix this year just can't think of the name...
Tasty tomato that will grow well in a 5 or 7 gallon pot. Looking for that juicy "tomatoey" flavor...no cherries. Determinate.
Recommendations please!
Looking ahead to the 2010 season....
One 15 seed pack of Naga Morich Seeds from the 2009 season go to the first two individuals that shoot me a PM.
USA only (sorry Aussies, it is a postage thing.)
Seeds came from the pods of this plant....

What is the "hot" hot pepper in the pepper growing world. Douglah? 7's or Scorps?
Any scoop on news of a new hot chili pepper variety?
FOr Bhut Jolokia seeds from NMSU stock plant.
I know that I could buy the seeds direct from NMSU but figured that someone on here has grown Bhut Jolokias from their stock and we could do a trade.
Have other varieties if Naga Morich (UK sourced from Assam, India) doesn't float boat.
PM if...
Whelp, the days are getting shorter and shorter, and the nights are consistently down in the 40's. This week low's may dip into the high 30's.
My season is done. In fact, I harvested what I could from my plants today and cut them down. I am going to try and overwinter a Morich but don't know...
When you know fall is fast approaching, temps are dropping into the 40's at night and your plants continue to look worse everday. The vibrant green leaves of the summer have turned to yellow and are falling. Even the pods are different.
You know that the time is coming when you will have to...
