this is my second year of growing peppers so i have limited experience and there are so many nice peppers out there that i want to try growing but my pick(from what i have grown) would be cowhorns. i had one last year and liked them so much that i got another one this year. it puts out loads of pods and they are HUGE. heat is similar to jalapenos so most people can enjoy them. i`m getting pods nearly 12 inches long. i pick some green and leave some till they turn red. my favorite may change next year because i always grow some that are new to me.
