heat What's the hottest thing you're growing this year?

I had a Choc Bhutlah CS with more of a mini Moruga shape that is definitely getting grown out again due to tremendous heat. A lot were hot but that one gave me confidence in the Bhutlah genepool. Then again I grew countless Bhutlahs to find one like that. Hope the heat stays in the line.

Bhutlahs I've had have been pretty fierce but I've not had the seed to grow them. The Jigsaws that I am growing a pretty mental too, though.

Planting some crazy hybrids and such,  bhutlah scorpions, jacks chocolate ( mourga satan x chocolate brakkapore) x BBG7, douglah x chocolate scorpion, too many too list.  Wrecking ball x BBG7.  Reaper x mourga.

Crazy mofo what are you gonna do with all those?

I am growing the BTR Scorpion, I have seen reviews and hoping it lives up to the hype.   Anything Scorpion seem crazy hot to me moreso than other varieties so I am sure it will be plenty regardless.

Been growing them from when they were released.  For me, they grew straight right off the bat.  I selected for most vigorous plants, but no reason to select for pod shape as they all that that compact moruga look like on Butch T's web site.  The heat is overboard for me.  I gut them before cooking with them because they are way up there.  Not saying they are or arent the next hottest.  They are so overboard / over the top that they break my heat o meter.

It's been a few years since I've chased or even wanted to grow the hottest... Although i do dip my unicorn toe in a scorpion, ghost or reaper here and there. This year I'm planning on

Peach ghost
Andy's chocolate reaper scorpion
OBEAH
D3 Goats
Brain yellow

I dunno.  I´m growing some fairly hot ones.  Primos, for sure.  Might grow BTRs.  Brains, again. I´m growing some of Bhuter´s 7Cinder; the pods he´d sent me were WAY hotter than i´d thought they´d be, but i´m not sure if they´re gonna be a contender among my pepper patches in 2018. I´m still at the point where i´m way more interested in other parameters, beyond SHU.  All of the Superhots kick my ass just fine, so i´m more focused on production, flavor, and kickazz looking pods.

You know what has been more of a concern to me lately?  How long the pods keep fresh and turgid after i pick them.  I really enjoyed growing Naga Morich and i thought they were tasty, but the way those pods got mushy and deflated so quickly after picking?  That really disappointed me....

Hottest I grew this year was the Reaper. That'll probably be the top other than primos unless I spot something interesting before it's too late to sow seeds

As far as the hottest thing I'm growing. Who knows I always grow for heat and am often surprised as which end up being the hottest by the end of the season. I had some real bangers last year that seeds are definitely getting grown again. A super nice UV Moruga Chocolate and a Moruga shaped Bhutlah as well as a richly colored locally bred Ch Brain strain, a Ch Butch T. that came out very dark are at the top of my list from stuff I kept in seed form or at least reveg. Got a lot of other promising hot contenders for this year's superhot showdown such as Butch Taylor's WAL 7 pepper and the Oracle 7 pepper as well as Apocalypse x Choc Lava as well as a lotta Dark Congo Ch and mixes, Choc Brainstorms from many different Breeders. which has a lot of potential. My online purchased seed collection this year leans a lot towards my preference for the darkest oiliest pods available along with a promising red here and there. Gonna be a great new year.

All the BTRs I grew last year just couldn't handle my harsh growing conditions. But then again I got them as seedlings but from three different Breeders last year. Not one survived. I'm hoping the WAL 7 is even hotter since I am trying those out this year.

I saved seeds from the super hot jalapenos last year. Will make a killer verde sauce if they are hot again this year.

D3 Goat
Reaper
Jpgs
7pot burgundy x cgn-21500 red pheno

not sure what else? I need a few for new crosses. Other than that i'm mostly going to grow my own stuff. Arse loads of D3 Goat and El Scorponero

Not that I want a "hottest" thread to trail off in jala land, but did those jalas have a name? I actually want to get back into growing them since it's near impossible to find any in the grocery store that even give a tingle.
