What pepper plants will grow large like a hedge/shrub?

Habme, here's a link to the pic. My son is 6'5". He was holding up the plant, as it's kinda been blown over by the wind.

Whatever that link should be doin', it's not..........

Those are in the ground. I don't have much luck with pots and the Texas heat. Plus I've amended my soil with leaves and manure, so it's pretty decent. I also spray with seaweed/fish when I can remember.

Was that grown from seed this year? When did you plant it?

Thanks!

Smiter, I started all my seeds in early January. This was the first time I've grown anything other than serranos and jalapenos. Newb error, tho, not realizing that Aji's, Habs and SB's may take longer to germinate. The Aji's, Habs, SB's were all smaller than what I wanted at plant out. I planted these out at the end of March. (I planted my tomatoes in early march, cuz they grow much faster and were larger.) I will probably start the this year around the end of December when I'm off work during the Christmas/New Years break. I use a SS rolling rack with some fluorescents hooked on the shelves for lighting. Nothing fancy, but it works for me.
