want to collect some tepin seeds

I want to make a trip to Tucson and collect some wild tepin seeds. I am thinking beginning of June. Does anyone know the best time?

i live in sw colorado bordering arizona. It's still chilly down there at night and here. I would guess a better time would be late july early august.

Well I planning my trip now. I have never done this befoe and I may not find anything. If I do I will share my spoils based on my success.

I lived in Tucson for 4 years and hiked the surrounding hills alot - never saw any wild tepins. I'm not sure exactly where they do grow, but I think you will need a more specific plan than to just go search around Tucson.

As for time of year, I'd guess september or october for the most pods - south AZ is cooler than Phoenix, but only by like 10-20 degrees. Otherwise maybe in the very near future before it gets too hot.

Went out into the desert to find the tepin. A few flowers still blooming
