TMV ALERT !

Well i think some of my plants are suffering from the TMV virus... i have eight plants that seem to be effected by this contagious nasty..

does anyone think i should get rid of the infected plants ? what are the chances of my entire crop getting hit with this thing ?

i can post some up first thing in the morning...

thats a good idea because i may be wrong... but everything seems to point to that.. ill get some photos...

what would you do if it was ?

Personally? If you had the room isolate them now until we can help you pin point the problem. Then if it is the worst case scenario, burn them.

Yeah I think that's waht hit me this year. Shit for luck man i hope its not cause i lost the whole crop.

Even worse TMV is persistant, meaning you gotta sanitize everything that came in contact. I read that it can stay in dead plant material for up to 50 years.

Check for bugs too. I know in commercial tomato fields, thrips carry the virus, and will spread it like wildfire. I know there are other ways of transmittance, but bugs would be bad news for dispersal.
