TABASCO® Family Reserve - 5 oz.

Every year, a portion of the finest peppers grown on Avery Island, Louisiana are hand-selected by members of the McIlhenny family for their superior color, texture and robustness. These special peppers are mashed with a small amount of Avery Island salt, placed in white oak barrels and aged for approximately three years. From time to time, however, some of this pepper mash is left to age for an extended period - some of it for up to eight years. This Family Reserve pepper mash is then blended with premium white wine vinegar, strained and bottled as a small batch of TABASCO® Pepper Sauce that has traditionally been available only to McIlhenny family members and close family friends. Occasionally, a limited edition of this full-bodied sauce is specially packaged and made available to the public. We hope that you enjoy this unique sauce. 5 oz. Bottle.
Unit Price: $24.95

Look how hardcore it looks with the wax and chain...
Would actually like to try it, but not for $25.

You KNOW I'd buy one for my collection!!!

....but I've been busy lately buying optics and laser sights for my plinking rifles.

I'm sure there are those who couldn't resist the temptation to add this to their collection. I would try it, but not for $25.00 a bottle…it's not sexy enough for me!!

In other words they found a couple of barrels that they forgot about and decided to charge extra for it. Nice ploy i must say!

I still like Tabasco sauce. Not my choice most times..but always trustworthy sauce :)..of course not for $25 unless your a bonehead like Paulky and buy 2...oh did I just say that paulk? lol...

I like Tabasco it has a special place in my heart next to a block of salted butter a bushel of steamers(Middle Neck or Cherry Stone) and a can of Old Bay.....=)

Not trying to help turn this into another Tabasco flame thread! But...
I like it too. It should probably be called 'chillied vinegar', but hey!
I love vinegar!
Would be interesting to try, gimmick or no. Let us all know how you go!! :)
