Ok the area I live in has nothing but MG, schultz and scotts hyponex.so i'm stuck.right now i'm not having any issues with the MG i'm using but the reason I posted this is because I want some input on a way to make MG decent soil.I already made a mix it is
MG organic 8 QT
MG perlite 2 QT (maybe less)
MG sphag. moss 2 QT
MG bone meal about a half cup.

mix all of this together and thats what I am using.

tell me if I messed up in this mixture or how I could improve it.

I'm new to this forum but I would leave out the moss. The roots like it light and airy. I think it would hold too much moisture not allowing you to flush out all the salts.

Miracle gro potting mix + the bag of perlite is all you need. I have peat for starting seeds, but thats all I can use it for now. I would not use MG organic, it is too heavy.

Si, I would also leave out the extra peat as many potting soils are loaded w/ it already
