seeds seed storing question

Ok this is more of a "this is how I am storing them" statement than a question but here goes.
I have all my seeds inside a small ziplock back stored in a small but a bit larger ziplock bag stored downstairs in my basement fruit cellar. Its cool and dark. Thats good right? Its where I keep all my dehydrated peppers so I figured seeds would be okay there!??

Yep, I sometimes store my seeds in the back of the refridgerator. Cold temps mean longer shelf life.

Some of my seeds I've saved and dried haven't germinated very well. I think I know why, because I dried them out in the airing cupboard (also where I germinate my seeds) and forgot to take them out for a looooong time. It's dark but very warm. All my other seeds are stored in a cool place in zip lock bags.

I just put them in the original paper storing bag that I get them with, and put them in a big ziplock bag in my computer desk. I havent had any problems with this at all.
