I see people use these a lot but there are multiple brands of 'Hydroton'. What exactly would be the one to use?

I goofed with aquaponics last year.  Bought two different sizes that wound up being two different brands.  One had more dust than the other, but other than that and the size they seemed about the same.  Going to try again this year.  If you are doing aquaponics, would love to compare results.  My first try was not great.

I won't be this year. It does look like a very interesting method though so if I give it a shot I'll hit you up.

PepperZ, I think my poor results were from fish being too small and not enough.  Tested with goldfish.
