Dwarf Chiltepin 'Hermosillo', Semillas la Palma 2022

Time to quit dragging my feet and get this season underway.
Last season was OW plants only with two exceptions. This
year I am growing all new plants from seed gathered from
my 2022 harvest and limited to Tepin and Chiltepin varieties.
If the spirit moves me I might try for some OW chinenses
varieties later on.

Looks like a fun mix, Paul. Hope it's a great season for you!
Thanks, CD, hoping the same for you!

Some of these are third tries this season. Hoping
for some better results with the rock wool cubes.

I hope this variety shows its teeth this year 😎

Thanks, Dieter, me too!

I had a smallish plant in 2022 that did well,
really hoping for one to OW this year. Most
of the pods had the little 'curl' at the end.

That's its most distinctive characteristic 👍 Not always easy to find (because they will sell anything as Diente de perro and then blame circumstances for forgetting to use their glasses). I haven't seen it being offered on the local market in a while...

Paul, Glog is looking great! I look forward to seeing your progress this year. Your grow area is always so clean!

I started up some seeds I got from you off of the seed train, the Pequin Chihuahua. I was wondering what year of your glog would be a good one to look at to see some pics of the plants/pods and maybe get a little story behind it.

Sorry to hear they are not on the local market.
I have great hopes for this one.

Thanks, Ben!. Good luck with the the Pequin Chihuahua!

I got the seeds for those off the seed train in 2020-2021.
There was no label info on the package but the name of
the pepper. So, I really can't tell you much about them.
I made several inquiries on the seed train thread and other
places, but have heard nothing. The plants are vigorous
with an upright growth habit, and the berries set early and
ripen pretty quickly. My 2022 grow log should have pics,
I'll try t o search a few out.

There is a pic here from the 2021 grow. Will keep looking
for some plant pics.
