nutrients Nute/ Watering plan for 2015

Ok I finally got my peppers in and the drip system set up in the greenhouse.

Peppers and tomato plant are all in 5 gallon root pouches. 40% Coir - 30% Compost - 30% Perlite/ Vermiculite...w/ Azomite mixed in. I also put a little tomato-tone in the plant hole when I transferred them from Solo cups.

Starting this weekend I'm going to go with this plan and see how it goes.
  • Week 1 - Tomato tone and fish fert watering
  • Week 2 - Epsom salt watering
  • Week 3 - Fish Fert watering
  • Week 4 - Cal Mag watering
Then start with week 1 again.
Regular watering will be ~5 min from the bubbler/sprinklers once every 4-7 days depending on the heat.

Any thoughts?

Let me know how the Cheiro Roxa tastes as well... been meaning to grow it for awhile now.

After those 4 weeks of watering you have laid out are over, will you go back to step 1?

Nice set up. I never had much luck putting my plants on a feeding schedule, I usually wait until I see that they're asking for something, which can be every two to three weeks. But it sounds like you have a good plan and good supplements,  so it will be interesting to see how you do. Good luck.

are you running the nutes through the drip?
you they say the organics (like fish fert) will clog the emitters quickly.

otherwise seems like a good plan.

No, the irrigation system is just for regular water. All supplements will be added by hand, water jug or hand sprayer.
