Killed Wife's Strawberries, but Peppers doing Great!

Uh oh!  I'm in trouble now...

My wife was gone for a few weeks and when she returned she found her precious strawberries were basically dead, but my peppers were doing awesome!  I don't see the problem, but she does!    :snooty:  She said it's a good thing we don't have kids.  Oooh burn!

strawberries get too hot and dry? Mine that are in partial shade are going nuts but my "ever bearing" ones are starting to wilt up with summer heat.

The problem is, you have raised that strawberry bed too much and they dried out. The peppers are not as high up and are also somewhat drought tolerant. If you neglected both peppers and strawberries, you may find a way out of this mess. Strawberries could be a good addition to a chilli sauce, not gonna happen now. :D

Seems to me like you just wanted more space for your peppers :hell: LOL

Oh crap, that's what my wife said!  This time of year the heat gets them, but I guess I could do something about it
