media Jiffy Professional Heated Greenhouse question

I'm not a fan of the peat plugs that are recommended, and I'm looking to try something new.
Until now, I've been using small bathroom drinking cups filled with coco coir and setting them in there to start my seeds.
What I'm thinking is to fill the entire thing with a potting and seeding mix made by Premier Horticulture (the Pro Mix people).

Has anyone tried this before?
If so, were you pleased with the results?

will work great have try ed it long time ago to me it was a pain in the ass, plants all different sizes as some came up in four days others took two weeks to germinate. make sure you have lots of drain holes. buy another plastic pan to water from the bottom.
I use baggie with coffee filter fo 100% germination now. works for me.

I've used the jiffy kit the last 2 years and never had any problems with it. If a few pop up early it was pretty easy to take out the whole puck and put into a small 3" container and that's that.
