I really shouldn't be trying to grow anything for another few weeks. However, I caught the growing bug & I decided to try out some seed I've had for awhile to see if they sprout. If they don't, I'll have plenty of time to pick up others. Great reasoning, don't you think?? I'm using a 36 cell seed starter tray, but only using 9 cells. I'm starting out w/ orange habs, white habs, chocolate habs, & fatalii. Oh! I also picked up a heat mat today. This is my first time using one & I'm excited!

Sounds like a great plan. I bet that the seeds will grow as long as they haven't been exposed to high temps or moisture.
I got some bhut jolokia & pequin seeds, so I'm including them in my trial batch. I even got a free sample of bhut jolokia! It's a think slice of dried pepper. I put just a teeny bit in my mouth by itself & it warmed my whole mouth. Nothing I couldn't handle, though. I'm considering tearing the rest into bits & sprinkling it inside the omelette I'm gonna make in a few mins
