pics I want pics of your biggest, baddest PLANTS

We see a ton of pod pics and I love them, but I want to see some of your biggest plants (preferably with something for scale).

I think I've grown some decent plants (3ish feet in 5 gal fabric pots), but I don't think they are anything to write home about.

So... Let's see some trees! Single season and plants that have survived several seasons both welcome!

not gonna be the biggest here i'm sure, but with my short growing season up here i still find it impressive :D

and i remembered to bring something outside to put in the pic for scale

2 year old long yellow pubescens in 7 gal fabric grow pouch

this plant is about 5 foot tall right now.  It is the tallest but not the widest of my pubescens i am growing

Love the fat stems! You have any of the whole plant with a person standing next to it?!

I'm jealous of the true year round growing season in Florida! Glad the plant made it, I hope your home and property fared as well. My brother loves in Miami and he was pretty lucky. Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best as the region recovers.

Thanks, we did fine, and didn't face the brunt of the storm like the lower Keys did.
Just a lot of tree related damage here.
On year-round gardening, thats not really the case here, we have a fall-through spring gardening season if we have a warm winter, as summer (may-september) is too hot and wet for any vegetable gardening. Summer is only good for tropical fruit trees like Mangoes. We are planting leafy greens, tomatoes, and peppers now for Fall/Winter. Strawberries are winter crops here.

I thought I had a wide shot pic somewhere.
Thanks for sharing, these are some monsters! Please keep them coming, this is super inspiring for the next growing season!

Some of mine that I just posted in my glog. These were started between end of January and February this year.

The larger dark green pots are 12" high by 16" wide for reference. First one is a BTR and second one is a Fidalga Preto.

If it wasn't for my mistakes this season, they'd have been even larger.

I never topped those two, I just let them do their thing.

A few got topped by deer in May, and I got a couple pods off some of those and zero off the others.

If I was going to top, I would have to do it way early on. Like start December 1st and top by mid to late February. My season is only from end of May to 2nd week of October.

The ones that did get topped by deer are crazy bushy though, I'll say that. And some are loaded with small pods, but none of them will like reach full size let alone ripen in the next two weeks.

I may try it with a few next season to experiment. I believe in the end they would be more productive if you start them earlier or have a long season.

From the base of the raised bed to the top of the upright is right at 6'.  These plants are close to 5' tall.  3 reapers, 2 BOC's(I think), 3 or 4 Jays Peach Ghost, and a Chocolate Borg 9.  I havent dont anything to these all summer except one feeding of Dr. Earth fertilizer and epsom salts around July 1 and watered via dripped 3x a week for an hour each(1 gallon).
