soil I finally found a vendor for quality soil mixes..

After searching for quality mixes. I finally found a vendor in my county that stocks Berger , and sunshine products.. I need your advice.. they carry a comprehensive line of mixes which I don't know which to choose. Do any of you have good experience with either Berger or sunshine ? And if so which one is it. ? Thank you

i currently use sunshine growers mix#4 its peat based but it seesm to have good drainage and has worked good for me so far.

I've used Sun Gro products, # 1 Mix. Works well when potting up indoors or as I use it...mixed with compost, castings, and loom when I pot up to 2 gal containers just prior to hardening off plants for the outdoors. I found it a bit rough (hot) to use with small seedlings due to the high lime content..,
