Redeyes,

I'm no expert on basil, but I grew some in the garden this year. Had maybe 10 plants in less than 8 feet of space. It didn't hurt it at all. I ended up selling $100 worth of it to a restaurant, charging about $12 for a pound of leaves. I could have charged more but he is a friend and it was cheaper than what he was paying. If you find a buyer, you could pay for all your fun selling it. All I had to do was to be sure to cut off any buds as they formed.

i would love to sell my stuff ... i already checked into seelling veggies... i really want to do some outdoor stuff in hydro but i still have deer in my back yard... i need to get my back fence fixed up... i kinda know a guy at a produce company... i think he would buy stuff from me.. i talked to him 1 time about it he seemed cool with it...

i think i am going to add this other system in ... i also was going to move my 400MH there instead of the 250... i am going to use a soilless mix in there no rocks..

What does your soi less mix consist of? Is it a whole new system, or is it sharing the reservoir with the rest of them? If the latter I would be worried about nasties entering the res and infecting everything.

Looks good though.

i have used this mix along time now and i have never had anything happen ....i change the water every week so far... we will see it does make the water alittle dark on the first watering but after that the mix dont really come out of the bucket...i have another rez i could use if things get bad ... i am trying to keep just 1 rez easy to keep up with.....i also am keeping my TDS at a low levle right now.... i am flushing the system out with plain water so i can take a few heads of lettuce out to eat and a few other thing i have there...... i will keep u guys updated...
