Hi everyone, this is my first post, I've only just got into the pepper growing thing, was hoping for a bit of advice please!
Last year I bought a small scotch bonnet plant and it grew pretty massive on my windowsill over the summer. I got a fair few chillies from it although I was only giving it tap water and it got hardly any sunlight as we are in a basement flat.
So this year I've been inspired to grow some indoors in coco, under a CFL light. The idea being that if we actually get a proper summer this year I can shift them to my windowsill once they are a decent size.
I got some jiffy coco plugs and planted 9 seeds from that scotch bonnet plant, 6 cayenne pepper and 6 from some mild green supermarket chillies, not sure what they are called though.
Anyway 2 weeks later about half of them have germinated, and stand about 2 inches with four baby leaves on them.
So my questions are, when should they come out of the heated propagation and into the larger coco cubes? And when should I start feeding? Also can anyone recommend a particular nutrient brand for chili plants in coco?
Thanks in advance to anyone who could give me any tips!
