Deployment Pics

The work here sucks...but at least the food is decent.
 
Here's today's menu.....

SGT Thibedaux has been pestering me to try the candied habs that HSL sent.....
 
We opened them this morning.
 
He said he'd eat one if I would. I said "no problem!" and took a fork and stuck 3 big pieces in my mouth......chewed them up and smiled. So he dug in and got him a nice sized chunk.....

Nobody else has been brave enough to go second.

Today is Afghan Independence Day....just in case anyone was wondering.

Sorry.....none of me this time. Oh yeah....and I didn't get back in time to grill the pineapple this time. I want to get a group photo of everyone holding the bottles.....but organizing these idiots is like herding fish! I'll be working on that and what to do with the tater salad!

I think it's kinda funny that I'm sold out of the Black Label prototype here, and have 1 unopened bottle left (that I can't bring myself to open) but there are bottles in Afghanistan ready to eat!
