shopping Bhut Jolokia Plant (Purchased on Ebay)

Mine aren't really anything special...they do seem healthy though.


Should I prune the bottom leaves off???
 
I'm sure mine would look close if I didn't lose so many leaves on my infestation.

I think with the leaf pattern and stuff I would say that mine are bhut also. I will see soon.

Looking good. I think whether or not you should prune the lower leaves is up to you. Some people do it in order to reduce the risk of soil born pathogens. Others to make bug access more difficult. I end up trimming some so I can more easily spread fertilizer around the base of the plant.
 
Its looking that my Bhuts from Hirts grew true. I bought from them in June.

I will post a few pictures of my revived plants tonight. Looks very dimply and rough looking and very Bhut shaped peppers coming out.

It was a while recovery on my plants but it looks like there producing inside now. WOHOO
 
please try to eat one of them there chilis and report

right now its about an inch long how long should fullsize be? I'm new to super-hots but there slow growing...

good thing I have a whole winter to grow some peppers.
