indoor Best window ledge chillie variety ? Northern Europe ?

Hi Guy's

I'm lucky enough here in Scotland to have a greenhouse and my chillie growing experience is based on that, people know I grow chillies and often say they only have a window ledge in the house and ask for advice if and what varieties they could grow ?

Any suggestions of varieties and advice I could offer ? Obviously we are talking small pots 1 litre maybe 2 litre for most people windows
