soil A must read for those interested in the soil food web

PMD,

Thanks for the heads up, just picked it up on my lunch break, and so far it's a great read.  One from my collection that I would recommend is "Worms Eat My Garbage" by Mary Applehof.... pretty simple and straightforward, but a good reference.

Both Trippa. Most of my newer books are on the Kindle. The one I just ordered was not on Kindle.

I take that back spydrweb, I have this book: http://www.amazon.com/Best-Place-Garbage-ebook/dp/B004T54BT8/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1370055525&sr=8-10&keywords=worms+eat+my+garbage

I also have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Worm-Book-Gardening-Composting-ebook/dp/B004JHYSD0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1370055525&sr=8-3&keywords=worms+eat+my+garbage

I read Teaming With Microbes over the winter, and it made me completely rethink my approach to gardening.  Now I'm reading Teaming With Nutrients, and am currently about 2/3 of the way through.  For dry material, I'm surprised how easy it has been for me to chew through both books.
