I use a Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital Elph and all the close-up are shot with the Digital Macro mode. Thanks for your comment bigt be sure to pm me your addy. Chili Cheers.

Thanks for the info. Canon's are famous for their accurate color. That fact notwithstanding, it's still a very impressive result from a compact camera. I have a Minolta that I need to spend more time with to get results close to yours. To be continued............

The photo is made by its composition...... the camera helps but the cameras driver is in control of how the picture will look.

Your seeds arived safe in aus...... to both sending me seeds..... thankyou!

now to grow them..... its warming up

cheers

I agree completely as I've taken thousands of pictures for more than 30 years. The equipment helps though just as a Yugo can't beat a Corvette in a race 99% of the time. Cappy's pics are like an F1 driver in a Ferrari. He puts a lot of effort in them and it shows. He has me inspired to try a lot harder to take better pics for this next crop in 2009. This a great forum!

Aw hell, I'll go ahead and beg, I'm not above it!

But I'll fire some back to you in return, I've still got a grip of Birds Eye seeds from Malawi, some Bolivian Rainbows, and a few Choco Habs I'll send you in return. Those pics of oily placenta goodness just wreck me!

The peppers look almost harmless don't they?

Sorry to hear of the rat problem PRF do you need some seeds of other peppers now? Be happy to send you some.

I have enough seed to start a pepper plantation but thanks anyway Patrick. Cannot wait to see all the 7 Pod babies next season. Good to hear the seeds made it to Oz Tony.

Thank you. You all are too kind. I have packaged up all the remaining seed from this final harvest and it will go out today. I have mailed over 500 7 Pod seeds out in the last month so I expect great photos from everyone. There are no more seeds left except my personal stash so don't even ask, nada zilch they are gone. Happy Holidays to all and good luck with your pepper gardens this coming year. It has been pods of fun growing with everyone at THP.

Bump!

Only because I'm so stoked to be growing this thing, and I think any newb here who hasn't stumbled upon this thread should witness its majesty. This is the scariest pepper I think I've ever seen, and cannot wait to see if I can get some pods!

PRF, how is your overwintered plant doing? I've see it in some of your pics kinda in the background. Is it showing more growth or any signs of flowering yet?

Hey FiveStar,

I have over a dozen 7pots in the ground this season.
I hope to blend them with the scorpions, fatallis, naga morichs, bhut jolakias, naga jolakias and/or devils tongue that in the garden as well.:hell:

Yes there is lots of new growth and plenty of open flowers but no sign of any pods yet. It did this same sort of thing last year but being a 2nd year plant I expected some earlier pods. I am just glad this 7 Pod is alive, it will pod when it's ready. I really don't need any of these over the top chiles until I start making my hot sauce again in the fall. Not like you can just pop these in your mouth and eat'em.:mouthonfire:

Nice to hear the plants doing well again and im looking forward to some more Pitted Delights this year P.R.F ;)

I've got a couple of 7 Pot plants going thanks to you Cappy! They start producing I'll post some pics for you. Thanks again.:)
