Whats your favorite band to listen to that's not your generation?

What band do you love that didn't come out in your formative teenage years?  
 
Mine is The Guess Who
 
My parents used to listen to them as one of their favorites when I was a kid.  Whenever we went on a road trip, they would throw a Guess Who tape in and let it play.  I still love their music to this day.  So good.

I used to play the trumpet too and my mom always had me listen to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.
