7 Pod skin porn..

I think the pods look beautiful, both inside and out.

I am so looking forward to growing these. Thank you very much for your generosity PRF. Someday when half the planet is growing these we'll be able to look back and say we know the guy who started it all; Mr. Pepper Ridge Farm.

One small question if I may, is the name of it 7 pot or 7 pod? I thought it was 7 pot. Thanks.

TrinnieHottie helped too. Some other people I know originally spread this absolutely unknown 7 pod around the world. In 2005, little was known to outsiders of T&T.

We all did our part. I've said it before and I'll say it again THP.com the website has done more to keep pepper growers connected sharing ideas and seed. Chris you have done more than you give yourself credit for. Thanks for all the nice comments all I did was put some seed in dirt. Call it what you will, I think more people in the know call it 7 Pod.

I agree with you PRF! This forum is fantastic. For years I felt like an oddball in this cold climate -- no one that I knew either liked or could understand why I liked hot peppers so much. I couldn't even explain it so it would make sense. I was humoured more than anything else. This forum has really connected me with a whole world of people who feel just the way I do.

These super-hots have pushed the whole pepper scene up a few notches. I wonder what's next! Just as a few years back we couldn't have imagined seven pots (or pods) or Bhuts or Nagas, what unimaginable level of heat will we witness 2 or 3 years from now? It boggles the mind. Thanks so much for starting this thread and helping us all to enjoy this great obsession!

Oh how I know that feeling PChead. Just check out my signature concerning my other hobby. Most of the time I'm not even humored, people start taking steps away from me.

LOL!! :mouthonfire: I hope they have their fangs/poison (...? I don't know what I'm talking about) removed before you let them crawl up your arm, Patrick! Mind you, that would be like having a Bhut and removing the placenta...wouldn't it?

You can't remove the fangs of a tarantula, you'll kill it. They are venomous but for the most part harmless to humans. There has never, ever been a confirmed human death caused by the bite of a tarantula. There are a couple of old world species that might make you wish you were dead for a day or two.:)

You Aussies are just now getting all of your tarantulas identified. They all seem to have a pretty potent venom too. No human deaths of course but they are hard on dogs. Last I read there was seven dogs that had been bitten and all seven died.

I don't play with mine. Just watch them. Like having fish but a heck of a lot easier to maintain. Anybody wants to learn more about them I invite you to check out this place: http://atshq.org/ Can't go wrong there.

Wow! Now I know why I had so many requests for 7pod(pot) seeds last
year! It's good to see the sharing continue!

ButchT

ButchT great to have you here at THP. I've done some more research and the source of my 7 Pod seed is from Trinhottie 2 seasons ago. I'm just passing along what I know so those of you who grow this seed will also know. Thanks for the replies saying the seed arrived RB and talas.

ButchT my 7pot and Trinidad Scorpion seeds were from you. I saved the plants for overwintering. I did get one 7 pot off the plant before frost, I'm sure they will be great next year. Thanks so much! You sent them to my GW name vic01.

Just got home from vacation to find my all my cutback overwintered plants eatten by rats but my 7 Pod in a sunny window had more ripe peppers. I'm starting from scratch yet it is really good to have ripe 7 Pods this time of year so in the holiday cheer I'm again sharing this seed. The first seven people who post a comment below will get seeds by Christmas. Happy Holidays.

I already have 7-pot seeds, but I just wanted to say that they look awesome and I am so jealous that you still have ripe pods in December!

Most fantastic pepper pictures I've ever seen! You and Potawie have some amazing stuff! The close ups are incredible. What kind of camera do you use?
