coheed196 Jan 27, 2012 #1 This is a Trinidad Scorpion "FG". Best I can tell it looks like the cotyledons fused together or something. The 1st set of true leaves is starting to form. Any ideas as to what causes this sort of thing?

muskymojo Jan 27, 2012 #4 I think I culled the ones like that, but it would be interesting to see what happens.
RedtailForester Jan 27, 2012 #6 Remember those are just cotyledons that will eventually fall off anyway. As long as the true leaves develop properly, the seedling should be fine.

patrick Jan 29, 2012 #8 It appears to be a pepper "hernia". I would suggest plenty of bed rest and fluids. This is a joke.
Pablo_h Jan 29, 2012 #9 Sir, we do not joke here. New chilli growers would have a fit if they learn later on they were worried about nothing!
