overwintering Winterizing pepper plants

This is for those of us in zone 5. I have 4 raised beds but I don't wanna have my peppers be the victim of frost in the winter. So what size pots do you folks use so you don't have to keep repoting all summer/fall long??:hell:

Do a quick search for pot size as key words and you will get all the answers you need. But for the sake of arguement shoot for atleast 5 gallon pots.

I like to prune plant tops and roots and pot down for overwintering. The size of pot always depends on the size of plant, you can only cut them back so far. Last year my huge guadaloupe hab was severely pruned and potted down to a 5 gallon container but unfortunately the aphids finally overpowered and eventually killed it:(

You can prune the heck out of them, move them to 5 gal buckets, and bring them in. I quit overwintering plants a long time ago. I prefer to take a ton of cuttings and clone them. That way you'll take up almost no space and have a ton of plants ready to go next year
