soil What type of lime for homemade potting soil???

When you make your peat based potting soil are u using the pelitized (crushed) or pulverized (powder) lime or a mixture of the two....? Also how much are you adding per gallon or yard of potting soil?

i use some kind of prilled dolomite lime. seems to work well. i think its "organic traditions" or something like that, from lowes. i use about 1/2 plastic party cup thing per wheel barrow then test the ph and adjust from there.

Yes I use espoma garden lime. I use 2 tbl sp per galof peat. How about you guys, just wondering, I do not have a ph meter.

I use dolomitic and/or calcitic lime but dolomitic also has magnesium which C. chinenses love.
