greenhouse Transfering to pots/greenhouse

Hello Everyone,
 
Hope everyones season went very well this year, especially up here in the north!
 
That being said I had a quick question regarding established plants.
 
I have a greenhouse that proved to be much too hot during the season to grow peppers in pots, but now that our season is dwindling up here I would like to take some hab plants from the ground put them in pots and grow them in the greenhouse for a while!
 
Can this be done? and if so how would one go about doing it in the best possible way?

yes, just  take them out of the ground  trying to not damage the roots and put them in a pot, immediately fertilize / water to try and help the plant from shock. There will likely be some shock and the plant will drop a few leaves or whatever. That's really all there is to it.
