Been into hot peppers forever, but this is my 1st year growing the super-hots......found this site....
Will try to get some pics up in a few days....
In my garden (proper) in 2012:
Cayannes
Thick Cayannes
Scotch Bonnets
Hot Thai
Habenaros (orange)
In pots:
Devils Tongue
7-Pot
Bhut/Ghosts (not sure of exact strain)
^^^^^A few of My Devil Tongues are starting to turn yellow in the past week, but Ghosts and 7-pots pots are nice and green (and plentiful), BUT no sign of turning......
Being in the North East, I have about a month of outdoor time left - my plan is to bring the pots in to the garage on frost./freeze nights.......will I make it?
What triggers the fruit to turn to orange/red? Shorter days? Cold?
I love this stuff!!!!
I mostly dry (in dehydrator) and ground up with a little coffee grinder....and make various hot-sauces (never the same twice)
