soil soil temp

I have some pots under lights that I suspect are overheating and I've read extensively that germination temp should be about 29C, but don't see anything on what the ideal soil temp is.

Anyone know what it is?

edit: I mean soil temp for seedlings, or growing plants.

if your ideal germination temperature is ~29C, then your ideal germination soil temperature should be the same...

Growing soil temperature can be varied much more...anywhere between 15C and 30C would be ideal IMO...
