I live behind a soybean farm that has been there for many years, its big enuf that they crop dust the soil and plants thruout the growing season. My questin is, instead of buying soil from the store could I use that soil?? Wouldn't that soil be prime for growing pepper plants?

no just going use that for growing outdoors, wont use it indoors
their soybean may be GM and the dusting may contain chemicals that the bean is resistant - don't do it.
ok good to know before i go and plant with that stuff, I'll just stick to buying from the stores
yes i'll be growing pots outside along with some in ground, just getting info now

Go with Miracle potting mix cut with perlite. You can not go wrong. Wait for the pots to get so dry the are light and easy to pick up then water. Never overwater, do not fertilize untill 2 months in then fertilize at 1/4 strength of miracle gro water soluble fertilizer. Follow those steps you will grow like a pro.
