Had conversation with someone who said they used big bitten / holed pods for seed stock. Am I being paranoid or does that kind of beg your dna to be less resistant to pests? Not saying that it would change the dna, but if you are collecting seeds from bug bit pods rather than plants that dont get bug bit... seems possible it is at minimum a not best practice.
Thoughts? Same pepper variety could some be more pest resistant than others?
