nutrients Hydrobuddy DIY Nutes

So I was talking to queequeg in THIS THREAD.  I thought it would be better to start a new one so I wouldn't hijack it though.

We were talking about using the HOWARD RESH METHOD to prepare hydro nutes yourself using mostly bare chemicals.

note the huge deviations in copper and some of the other micros.

this is because of the peters STEM micronutrient mix... you can do better with plantex CSM+boron... but its more expensive.

the copper deviation is not a problem though... its just more than necessary. STEM is what alot of greenhouses use, but you can buy the individual chelated micros if you want... will just cost a shit load more.

these are comma seperated values. every comma denotes a new value.

note that the third value in the salt break down is 'preperation cost' ignore that.

this is all from hydrobuddy btw. a free piece of software that should be available still.
Ok I have been playing around with Hydrobuddy.  I have one weird thing I wanted to figure out though.  The Sulfur readings are really low.  I tried adding Sulfuric Acid 30% in, but it refuses to use it.  If I come in on the results page and add in 11.4g per gallon manually, it works perfectly and doesn't throw anything else off.

Also where do you get your KNO3?  Stump remover?

I looked at Plantex CSM+B and it seems like such a better fit.  It is only about $21 a lb which seems like it should last forever using 0.26g per gallon.  Sounds worth it to me.  You need to add a tiny amount of Boric Acid though as well.  I also added Ammonium Sulfate to take care of the missing NH3.  Sulfuric acid needed to be changed to 10.6g per gallon now.

Here is what I got:
