soil Happy Frog Soil Conditioner

So i'd like to add another small bed (in ground) for overflow veggies. Soil is meh, clayish and hardpan. I've exhausted my compost and leaf mold in existing beds that I already expanded. Figured I'd till in some hf and perlite to get a start this year and mainly grow beans and get what I get. Have time restrictions so figuring this would be best way to go. Have always been a mix guy, so would this be a good route or waste of time and money. $25/3cu bag. Know nothing about product. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Don't do that.. Go to a place like menards, home Depot or Lowes and get bagged compost, peat and perlite. You could get a lot more for the price of that happy frog.
