hydroponic DWC Hydroponic mysterious questions

Hi all,

I know how to make a basic dwc 5 gal bucket sys, just one for outdoor. I do have a few questions to ask u guys.

1. At which point in a dwc growing stages I have to change out the nutrs water? I read something about water got dirty and stunned the roots

2. Do I need to filter the water in a dwc 5gals sys (water filter for small dirts, etc...) What about in a bigger dwc sys like 20gals?

3. What is the Minimum air flow in a 5 gals and so on.

Anything you pump you will want to filter. Don't have to get everything down to 5nm, just the bigger bits. Woman's stocking over pump inlet is good.

More oxygen to the roots the better.
SOme people like to top off water level. Weekly
other people do a complete change every Week or so.
If you get 2 5 gal buckets you can just swap the lid with plant and all in it.
I'm not sure of the minimum air flow, but you want to get the water to look like a rolling boil.
The more O2 your roots have the better.
