lighting CFL Soft White Lights

I currently have two 1700 lumen CFL soft white lights to help grow my peppers indoors. Should this be enough light? Am I on the right track with lighting, or have I missed lighting completely? Thanks for the help.

what are you trying to do overwinter? overwinter with some growth? flower and produce peppers? you should be ok for overwintering and probably some growth...for flowering buy a 2700K T5 CFL or dual band LED light get some reflective material if you don't already have it keep on eye on the heat and cut back on the water...

you would be better off with the daylight spectrum cfl's they throw more blue light i use them from start to finish and they work great!1
