About 5/6 of my 7 Pots have stingers like the one on the left. The one on the right is a Trinidad Scorpion.
I got the seeds for this 7 Pot from a different soure as the 7's I grew last year. Last year none had stingers. Other than the pimples they look nothing like last years crop.

I just came across this article. Sounds like some interesting breeds. The Heritage Sandia to be released in 2011 will be a must grow for me as I like the regular Sandias. I'm going to try the Heritage Big Jims this year...

I ordered 6 Bhut Jolokia plants from Cross Country Nurseries. They have been doing well and started setting pods a few weeks back.
