My no shows to the party.

Glad I'm not the only one that has been struggling with the Limons! I do fancy trying the Aji pineapple too ... Maybe a little late this year by the time I've bought some seeds and got them going :/

"Not White" Yellow Bhut Community Grow

Thanks Sawyer. I appreciate that LEDs can be tricky little things, but it is just a quick little experiment to be quite honest! Plus, I won't be relying solely on the grow box, I will have at least one tray on a windowsill incase all goes wrong with the box!

My no shows to the party.

For some reason I always struggle to get my Aji limon going...I've tried 3 years running and had a very low germ rate :s I don't think it's the seeds, as I've tried seeds from a couple of different people/stores. This makes me sad as they're one of my favorite!

seeds My little LED seedling grow box :)

Hey juanitos and thanks for the reply. I did think about using a small fan similar to that, but I decided that I quite liked the idea of having in-take and exhaust fans bringing fresh air into the box! I'm not sure how well they will work...or indeed if they will work too well, but I shall...

seeds My little LED seedling grow box :)

Hello there! So, I quickly got this all together the other day while I finally had some free time. I've used an old wooden reptile vivarium commandeered from a friend, a couple of reptile heat mats with thermostats and 2 RGB LED light panels which are designed to be used when lighting on-stage...

Hello all :) Sawyer, you sent me some seeds a good while back...however due to the lousey weather in the UK, I have only just begun to get them going!     I started germinating around 15 of the 'Not White' YBJ seeds that I recieved a few days ago, and I am pleased to say that I already have 5...

"Not White" Yellow Bhut Community Grow

Why oh why have I been away from THP for more than a year, would have loved to get some of these going! I guess its far too late for this year, especially in the UK! If you continue this next year then I would very much like to be involved!

    Light issue

From my own experience no it didn't have fun of an negative effect. If anything, the plants loved the move into the sun! I'm fairly sure that they will be fine as long as they get a minimum of 6 hours of direct light a day. You might want to consider moving the into the sunlight for just a few...

So I've just spent the last couple of hours reading through all 22 pages of this, Rich you are a G! I know that going all organic next year is the only way, especially after all the info I've gained from here and over at the city. You deserve some sort of award for all of your huge plants man!

    lighting Lighting without electricity?

^^ This, get rid of some of the walls and the roof, still use the structure of the shed but just cover with something like PVC sheeting :) A make-shift kind of polytunnel.

seeds Anyone ever use lizard heating mats to start seeds?

Another thing i've done is stick the seeds in wet paper towel in a plastic tub and left it on top of the wireless router! Worked just fine.
