I had successful rooting in my Aerogarden. I just placed the cutting into the aerogarden plug, and waited. My problem was that the plant seemed stunted, and wasn't growing very fast. In fact, my seedings outpaced the cutting within a few weeks.
Awesome! There's a few that I think would work great. Have you guys thought about having it narrowed down to a few? For example, people could compete with Brazilian Starfish, Yellow Brain Strain, and Aji Fantasy. Maybe that would get complicated.
From what I've been told, they are a close relative of the Tomatillo. I grew ground cherries this year, and wasn't a huge fan. Some people really love them though.
I would say they are not reapers. I'm not sure if this will make you feel better or not, but I find the reaper to be overrated. I'm not a big fan of the flavor, and there are plenty of other superhots that can deliver some pain. The reaper takes forever to mature and start producing pods.
I agree with the earlier post about Poblanos. They can actually build a decent heat and make are great grilled. I think it may help to know her tolerance as well though. Does she handle habaneros, or is she more on the level of jalapeño? The Cajun Belle is a tasty pepper with a little heat, and...
It might be hard to tell, but there is a board on each side that lies on the ground. They are about 15" in length. It's very stable. You could always add cross bracing from the vertical board to the top board if needed.
