    Is casi?

The ICS (International Chili Society) championship is held in Reno each year. To compete you have to win an ICS ccok off if I remember right. I'm not totally sure of ICS guidelines because I'm not a member. :)

    Is casi?

CASI probably is not the largest but, we raise money for charity with our cook offs. ICS gives money prizes to it's top winning cooks and has a championship in Nevada once a year where the winner receives $25,000. Hey...money is great but, standing on the stage at TICC is great also. CASI holds...

How do you like your chili?

Chili I don't like my homestyle chili rip your face off hot. I do like beans but, put them in later and I use pintos because I can't stand kidney beans. I'd like to know how many people prefer hand cut meat to chili grind? Some chili cooks outside Texas many not know what chili grind is....it may be known as sausage grind in your area. Some cooks in other areas are using ground chuck to cook with. HEB ( a chain grocery in Texas) produces a chuck...

How do I like my chili? I like it with meat and to be spicey not hot. Since I can't put beans in competition chili I wait till later to add those. Also, spicey means just that...not rip your face off hot. People in differnt areas of the country have different ways of describing heat. :)
