rubber mulch is an abomination.

suffocates roots, holds heat in the summer, impossible to remove from the soil once it gets mixed in, doesn't add organics to the soil... The only positive attribute is keeping down weeds, and it doesn't do that any better than wood mulch.

I wouldnt go that far haha.. i had hopes that it would do exactly that "hold heat in" I have a big soil issue my dirt is more clay than anything and will hold water like no other

As far as the suffocation issue I hope it being a very thin layer wont cause any problems I did however kill a few pllants in the process of taking 2 inches off the top I guess I hit some roots lol no biggy tho just some banana peppers and a regulor ol habanero
