My plants are doing great but I saw or read somewhere that stopping fertilizing will encourage the plants to ripen their current peppers. I have a lot of peppers on my plants and I don't want a frost to destroy them.
So is it true that stopping fertilization will encourage them to ripen?
Hi, quick question. I have been fertilizing with tomato fertilizer about every 3 weeks and am wondering when should I stop? My season will be over by the end of September and I was going to fertilize soon but was wondering if to fertilize now or not.
Thanks

Hi,
My parents bought me three 60.5L Bags Miracle Gro potting soil, for $3.50 CAD each, last fall. I know a lot of people hate Miracle Gro but I'll be using it anyway instead of throwing it away. But my question is do I need to fertilize with Mircale Gro potting soil? It say it feeds plants for...

there is a frost advisory almost nightly where I live and my plants haven't produced much of anything yet and their loaded with pods. I need some advice on what to do with these pods.
I have read a few methods on ripening them...
#1 Cutting the branches and hanging them upside down indoors...
I just noticed some of the leaves on one of the pepper plants look like this....
Also, a lot of small young leaves are turning yellow and dropping. Could this be caused by being next to a running heater?
Thanks for all the info, but what signs should I look out for this winter if it is too hot for the plants by the heater?
Also, I have a couple 50w LEDs I'm going to hang over them for a little extra light in the evening.
Hi, I have brought two plants in for the Winter and have placed them in a south facing window, but there is a baseboard heater beneath the window. I live in Canada so that heater will be heating the room all Winter. Will this hurt the plants being next to it? Or will I just need to water more...
