I used a clothes hanging rail to hang the reflector which I found at home bargains for 6.99 and it can extend to about 2 metres high

ive got build a box around it with some emergence blankets for reflectivity as there will be no weight to the box it can be made light weight

ill be updating as things happen & thats if any thing does happen

Well, don't despair. In fact just the opposite: you are off to a great start, and could become the Congo regional winner for all of England! I don't think anyone will touch Windchicken as possible world champion, but the comparos will be fun.

Last year was my first growing C. Chinense--only a Scotch Bonnet and Orange Hab. I started them late (March, I think) but was still able to get a few pods. There is a huge amount of satisfaction in getting to that pod finish line. Hope to see you there...

I cant wait to get to the pod stage :hot:

my big Jim has started setting flowers and I don`t no if a should pinch the flowers of yet or just leave them be?

here is a couple more pictures of my plants progress,as you can see ive re potted the biggest plants into 2ltr pots

ive also had 2 culti caves turn up I ordered to house some of my plants in the summer

ive only set up one for now to see what they were like, all in all they are strong and well made with carbon fibre poles and a sown in ground sheet to keep out them horrible nasty things called slugs.
each one is 2meters wide 0.90meters deep and 1.80meters high and each one can be attached to another to make a poly-tunnel type structure

here is a picture of one of them set up

Hey. Slater, your starts look just great! Nice, green and robust.
Good luck as you move forward with your grow season.

Thanks Paul, everything is starting to move along nicely now.

Only lost one plant so far which was a scotch bonnet :( it sprouted stayed at the same size for weeks then it just sort of dried up and died it was very strange.

The plants are really kicking into overdrive, slater!
You have the magic touch for sure!
That Red Habanero is just awesome.

Cheers again paul for your kind words :) I'm slowly getting them outside for a few hours then back in doors and keeping them out of direct sunlight,as I burnt big Jims leafs in the sun when I first put him out and it was only about 12 degrees outside "you live and learn"

I don't think it's a magic touch I have more like OCD :)

Do you live i Coffee Hall? Netherfield prehaps? im trying to remember what estate has them windows in the background. I used to work in that area for many years (fenny/bletchley) before moving down under.

Plants are looking real healthy by the way, should get a crop by Aug/Sep just before it turns cold again.

Mezo.
