What's the tel tale signs of telling the difference between species via their flowers?

Well I have raised all 3 families of peppers, Annum, Frutescens, and Chinese and I don't think that I have ever seen where you can differentiate by the flowers. I don't think I have ever read that you could either now that I think about it.

I love chile flowers and there are many difference between the five domesticated and 20 odd wild species. For a quick guide try here:

We have over 600 flower images in the database, try searching using the species dropdown and you will see the differences. Pubescens are beautiful and some of the wild species like cardensaii and eximium are also stunning.
