What gets me is how natural the movements it makes to recover its balance looks when it gets the shit kicked out of it. I mean it sprawls and catches itself just like an animal. Amazing.

I had to keep reminding myself that it was a robot. It does seem to move like an animal, or at least like two blokes carrying an esky (cooler) full of beer to the beach!

I wonder, is this the next age? eg: radio, tv, satellite, internet and now robotic? Are we far from the Jetson's Rosie?

It has hugh applications for the military and NASA.

Imagine that thing walking around mars... It could go a lot further than any other probe before it...

put a head on it and rap it in fake fur and you have a life long companion that you don't have to feed and doesn't sh*t on the rug. All you have to do is charge it up each night.....:)
